Jomie Aipeelee, is a well balanced artist. Jomie is very talented at taking a legend and carving it into a piece of art. He has work in many private collections and did a large exhibit at the Toronto Zoo in 2010. Jomie works in many mediums and subjects.
Narwhale are Manasie Atsanilk's trademarK or favourite subject. From Qikiqtarjuaq, Manasie has made some very collectable pieces for corporations and collectors. His ability to carve in any medium or subject makes him a very versatile artist and is considered to be one of the artists that will be in high demand for a long time. Still a younger artist in his thirties Manasie will be an artist whose art will increase substantially in value.
Noo Atsiaq was born in 1986, he was born in Iqaluit and grew up in Cape Dorset. He used to watch his grandfather and others carve, which is how he learned, by observing them. He loves carving. His dream is to be famous for his carvings. He works hard to ensure that his carvings are nice and to make his carvings realistic. Noo was an amazing artist and will be truly missed.
